This kitchen in Liverpool was in great shape, but built in 1971 and never having been updated – it was time. The client really wanted to open things up with a more open concept, so we removed the wall separating the kitchen and dining room. Removing the soffits also helped heighten the room and provide space for taller cabinets. We were able to preserve some of that timeless brick look while turning the former wall into a super functional island with stools. Leading the way on design, we went with herringbone marble backsplash, quartz countertops, a beautiful walnut slab for the center island, two-tone cabinets, and gold hardware and fixtures.
