From Tradesmen to Owner
I come from a family of trades men. That’s me in the picture, even as a young man I was surrounded by construction. As I grew so did my passion for working with my hands and creating something out of nothing.
In 2000 I started my first construction company; things were going great. We primarily framed new homes and completed the exterior. In 2009 the housing crisis hit us hard, the rug was pulled out from under us in a 24-hour period. Fortunately, through the relationships I made through the years, an industrial contractor that we worked for in the past offered me a position in his company working on America’s infrastructure. The experience and knowledge that I acquired there is invaluable and allows me to expand my vision for your project.
During 2015 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. For the next 3 years I was in the fight of my life “literally”. During these three years it gave me the opportunity to reprioritize and recenter all areas of my life. I realized it wasn’t enough for me to just be working for a paycheck, I needed to get back to what I was passionate about, turning clients dreams and visions for their home into a reality.
January 2020 our prayers were answered, and I received a clean bill of health, the battle I was in was officially over. I’m in remission!!
That was when Legacy Renovations was conceived, and with renewed passion for life and construction, we began to build our Legacy by helping others build theirs.
